5 Full Body Licious Exercises To Tone Your Butt

One of the most important body parts to any woman is her butt. There isn’t a woman alive that hasn’t wish about working on toning her butt so I thought I would hook you up with 5 simple Full Body Licious style exercises you can right at home. Shaping butt muscles sometimes needs a personal trainer and can be so expensive. Whatever reason you have in reading this; take it and never forget to warm up when doing the below exercises.

  • Squat. This kind of exercise is surely for shaping the butt area. Over the years, the squat exercise is the number 1 over all exercise for building and tightening the muscles which can be done by holding a barbell that is resting across your shoulders. Then place your feet wider than the shoulder width. Bend the knees and look straight ahead, inclining your torso forward, control. Descending the thighs and make it just above parallel to the ground. Do not stop and bounce at the bottom. Make yourself back up so that it contracts your buttocks muscles. Repeat the step. Now’s it’s time to talk about Full Body Licious Kickbacks.

  • Kickback. This is an easy move. In general, you can do the kickback by kicking the right leg out behind at a 45 degree angle to the floor. Do it for at least seconds using the other leg and repeat this 3-4 times. It is also good to do the two other forms of kickback in order to maximize the results.
    • Gluteus kickback. To do this, you need to get on your hands and knees on the floor and bend at 90 degrees. With the head up, you need to lift your right leg back. Take note that you should maintain the 90 degree knee bend. Your foot should be higher than of your head. This can be painful at first but later on, you will get used to it; making you more flexible. The last step is to squeeze your right gluteus. Do the same thing with the other leg.
    • One leg cable kickback. I believe this is a complex exercise and to be able to understand it clearly you need to see the actual video but let me at least give you an idea on how to do the one legged cable kickback. Attach a cuff to your ankle and hook a leather cuff to a cable pulley. Put the weight stack form a distance of two feet. Bend your hips and knees slightly, contract your buttocks and slowly kick the working leg in a semi circular arc and squeeze your gluteus for peak contraction.  After that, you have to bring your leg forward, resisting the pull of the cable. For beginners, do this for 3-5 reps and after completing it, used the opposite leg and do the same.   • Stair run. This kind of exercise burn calories and firm up the butt area and is probably one of the easiest things to do. Start by running up the stairs, for beginners you need to do one step at a time, then two and later on switch to three. Try to build more after three. If you want to do stair run with a little more challenge, you may try to carry weight while doing it.
  • Knee raise. Find a chair and sit on it. Make both feet flat on the ground and straighten your back. Lift your one knee as far as you can, while pointing the toes on the floor. After that, switch leg and do the same. Do this for 1-3 minutes with alternating legs working. You can also try to customize exercises to tone the butt like lifting both knees at the same time and prolonging the time spent above the ground.   • Leg circles. Leg circle exercise is another popular workout to tone the butt area. Start by sitting at the edge of the chair. With the leg bend and the right leg straight and make small circles bigger and bigger and switch directions then start all over again using the small ones. After you are done with the right leg, switch it the other one and do the same thing. With this, the leg and butt muscles are used and thus, developing it to be firm.
